Advanced Geotechnical Expertise
The Technical Director of Ingeniería Geocivil has developed specialist expertise in advanced geotechnical engineering through doctoral studies conducted at UPC BarcelonaTech and research activities carried out in collaboration with Delft University of Technology (TU Delft).

Gerardo Morales Flauzín
ME, PhD, PE Founder & Technical Director
Gerardo Morales is the founder and Technical Director of Ingeniería Geocivil, S.A, with over 12 years of professional experience. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering from the Technological University of Panama, as well as a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering from UPC BarcelonaTech, Spain.
His experience combines independent consulting practice with advanced geotechnical expertise on tailings liquefaction, centrifuge modelling and unsaturated soil mechanics, conducted in collaboration with UPC BarcelonaTech and TU Delft.
At Ingeniería Geocivil, he is the main geotechnical consultant and leads the technical development of projects.
